Peeeehhh peeehh its a common site in India to see little kids pretending to ride a bike and they always always have to scream peehhh peeehhh while pretending to do so. I always wonder why is it so hard to pretend to ride a bike without all that noise. Well the only reasonable explanation is that kids follow what they see!!
We Indians are trained to drive without head lights, without breaks, without license and insurance but never ever without a horn. It’s like in olden times when there use to play these huge drums on the arrival of the king. Blowing our horn on road (for no reason what so ever!!) seems like a little gesture from each of our side saying “Hey I m the self assumed king of the road GET ASIDE “
Jokes aside, but have you ever thought why we have to use the horn when stuck in traffic when you absolutely know that the vehicle in front is as stuck much as you are? Why as soon as the lights turn green we have to blow horn to remind the vehicle in front to move. Why do you push the horn even before he can push the accelerator? Why is that the further you are in the queue the less patience you seem to have? Why is that it’s more dangerous to cross road when lights are green that to cross when they are red?
Is it simply lack of traffic sense or is it that to us happy and noiseless co-existence is a little inefficient. Why is that we Indians trust more on our ears than our eyes. So even if we see a car coming in the same lane from opposite side why do we have to take it as an insult to our ego to change the lane .The tie breaker is obviously decided by the might of the horn. But why do we have that urge to show our supremacy to complete strangers? Or may be sometimes it just a way to vent out our days frustration. After all it’s a stranger so no harm done!!
But deep down harm is done. All the noise just adds to the suffering of being stuck in jam, not to mention the noise pollution it leads to. Driving becomes more dangerous as you cannot rely on anyone’s driving sense (if they have one), because it’s the adrenaline that drives the traffic rather than the rules.
It’s about time we so called educated people start taking some responsibility and stop giving in to chaos. It’s about time we brighten each other’s day with a smile (and a side or a way) rather than deafening it with noise .Yeah we all have our own reasons to use a horn, but it’s about time to eliminate all the wrong ones.

Believing against belief
The idea of starting a blog of my own popped out quite few times in my head recently, given the fact that may be there were just too many thoughts in my head these days
And yes there was no one to express them too. But then I thought (yes yet another thought!) that do people really care about what I have to say or what I think??
So as an experiment here is my first blog, what harm can it really do !Even if no one reads at least I will have a way to vent out all those thoughts and try to sleep after that.
Who knows I might become a blogging addict after some time. So for all of you who think, everything I just said is crap, have patience and belief ,at least that what half of the videos that people post on FB now days say.
Well frankly I have no idea what a person like me stuck in IT profession (not that I don’t like my bread and butter) will ever do by believing in myself(Believe me I have tried that it only leads to more work at same salary).
It all sounds very motivating but then starting thinking what exactly belief can do for me
It really is a good tag line for teenagers and people running some xyz mad rat race, but believe me at some point or the other it’s like now what!!
Just look around you ,do you ever find a person who is happy at what he has in his hands, people are unhappy without a job there are miserable after getting one. You are frustrated before promotion and cry after u get one.
They all believed in themselves at some point or the other so what happened now? Are we expecting too much from our lives and our beliefs don’t really stand a chance against that expectation or is it that we as humans are tuned to be genetically unsatisfied and miserable...
It surely has helped us scientifically and culturally, but as individuals do we really know where we are heading to??It’s a question we might have to ask ourselves. Only then can we rekindle that belief and get out of that self created misery and mess
